How to Adjust Timecode in Windows Movie Maker
Timecode is a signal recorded with a video, which uniquely identifies each video frame. When you play a clip from the browser, its timecode signal appears on the display below the viewer.
How to add timecode
In the timeline, select the clip or photo you want to add timecode.
To show the timecode, click the timecode button.
How to edit timecode format
Timecode position:
In the Settings panel, select layout drop-down menu to set the location, or you can drag the timecode box at the preview viewer.
Timecode format:
In the Settings panel, select format drop-down menu to set it and it includes 6 formats:
yyyy-MM-dd
HH:mm:ss
MM/dd/yyyy
yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss
yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm:ss
MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm:ss
Realtime and Custom timecode
Realtime: In the Settings panel, check the "Use Real Time" to use the real time,
Custom timecode: Unckeck it and and input the data into timecode field.
Timecode font
In the Settings panel, click the "Font Settings" button to set the font.
