How to Add Transitions in Windows Movie Maker
What is transition
The combination of the two video clips will not embarrass the user when watching the video transition.
You can have a clip fade in or out, dissolve into another clip, zoom in to another clip, and so on. We mainly use cut, cross fading, wiping, flying and other effects. A good transition effect will make the whole movie more interesting. Also, if it is used improperly, it will be more abrupt. You can set Windows Movie Maker to add transitions automatically, or you can add transitions manually.
Add transitions
1. Apply your videos and images to Timeline.
2. Click "TRANSITIONS" at the middle menu bar.
3. Double click a transition, check it at the preview viewer.
4. You can drag the transition effect to Timeline directly, the position can be the beginning or the ending of it, or the between of two video clips.
